How will a candidate be successful in this role?
Under direct supervision of the staff RN, provides professional patient care by assessment and evaluation of patients in a timely/efficient manner, while communicating information to health care providers, both written and verbal in an accurate organized fashion.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes routine provider appointment check-ins and rooming of patients, to include vital signs and medication reconciliation.
Coordinates care between other providers, including obtaining ROIs and requesting records.
Completes Urine Drug Screens, breathalyzers, and pregnancy tests as needed.
Other duties as requested by assigned provider or RN, within scope of practice
Transports patients to outside appointments and accompanies patient into the appointment as needed to assist with coordination of care.
Acts as liaison between outside providers and CRC treatment team.
Performs other such duties as assigned within the scope of the position and program description, as well as those reflective of their experience, education and ability.
High School Diploma or GED.
Medical Assistant Certificate
One year of directly related experience.
Knowledge of the Medical Field.
Good computer and typing skills
Communication, organization, time management, and clinical skills.
Must have valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record while employed with Community Reach Center's Programs.
