Summary: Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and medical facility. The main duty of this position is assisting providers with vitals, recording patient history and medication documentation, charting, scheduling, and answering phones.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following, other duties may be assigned
Completing clinical data entry.
Taking Vitals and documenting in patient chart
Completing Certificates of Medical Necessities
Obtain Prior Authorizations when needed
DME Order request for providers
Compliance download
Calls and schedules results and sleep studies needing a second study and any other follow ups
Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education, Credentials, Certification, and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED, 2-year degree preferred
2 years related experience and/or training in medical services related fields
Spanish speaking and writing abilities preferred
Medical Terminology
EMR/HER
Previous work experience in a medical office
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal / CSR skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good computer skills
Good organizational skills
Competent in usage of office equipment
