This position#will receive an hourly Coastal Differential in addition to the base hourly rate due to the needs of the Coastal Clinics.


JOB SUMMARY


/PURPOSE Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient records and relaying test results. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Depoe Bay Clinic is happy to serve the health care needs of residents and visitors of our community. The clinic offers walk-in visits as well as scheduled appointments and accepts patients of all ages. The health care team may include doctors, nurse practitioners, physician associates, behavioral health specialists, medical assistants and other clinic staff members working together to help patients maintain the best possible health. They encourage and offer preventive care including annual exams, health screenings and counseling regarding health and lifestyle. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required. Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required. Healthcare Provider BLS required. Previous medical back office experience/medical assistant training, or completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program preferred. Experience in applicable specialty area preferred. Lab/EKG experience preferred. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Patient Care
