What You'll Be Doing

Performs a variety of duties such as assisting physicians with patient care; handling clerical, environmental and organizational tasks; Provides information to patients regarding clinical services such as scheduling appointments via EMR.Primary Responsibilities:- Fulfills patient care responsibilities, including checking schedules and organizing patient flow- Accompanies patients to exam/procedure room and assists with walking transfers, dressing, collecting specimens, preparing for exams etc.- Collects patient history- Performs screenings as per provider guidelines- Assists providers with a variety of procedures- Charting- Relays instructions to patients/families- Answers incoming calls- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education: Technical School Diploma

Experience: Related experience preferred

Skills: Ability to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing, Knowledge of Medical Terminology
