About This Opportunity:
We are seeking a Medical Assistant with exceptional patient care skills, excellent communication abilities, and a dedication to providing concierge-level customer service. This is a full-time, 36-hour per week, onsite opportunity with eligibility for benefits.
Schedule:
Thursday: 7:30 am
3:30 pm (Closed for lunch 12:00 pm
1:00 pm)
Location: 3138 Custer Drive, Lexington, KY 40517
The Role of the Medical Assistant:
Greet and room patients.
Obtain blood and urine samples, measure and record vital signs, and maintain clean exam rooms.
Perform clerical responsibilities.
Demonstrate sound clinical judgment within the scope of the role, with or without the provider present.
Adhere to all clinical and clerical protocols per company policy.
Perform other duties as assigned to include practice management.

Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) plus one of the following:
Paramedic
Licensed Practical Nurse
Medical Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited MA program
Or 1 year relevant work experience or on the job training in lieu of certification or diploma
Emergency Medical Technician
Military trained medic
Certified Nursing Assistant certificate or diploma from an accredited CNA program
Entry through approved CareATC Internship Program or school sponsored externship program
Experience:
Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical setting is strongly preferred.
Must possess a current BLS, CPR certification and current health records with the appropriate documentation for immunizations to work in the health care field (hepatitis B and tuberculosis).
