Medical Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY The Medical Assistant (MA) functions under the direct supervision and authority of the physician/NP/PA/CMN and reports to the practice manager. #The MA must demonstrate competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care, communicate effectively with others, maintain an inventory of examination/procedure room supplies, work with the healthcare team to assure smooth and efficient patient flow, and organize the office environment to assure patient safety. BENEFITS Hourly Rate starting at $18.60 per hour.# Retirement plan with a generous employer contribution of 6% and a 1% match. Working with a friendly and supportive TEAM! QUALIFICATION EDUCATION: High school graduate, medical assistant training program, EMS training, or nursing assistant training strongly preferred. EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS: Minimum two years within the last 5 years of experience in doctor#s office setting preferred LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S): Medical Assistant Certification required within six months of hire.CPR certification required.
