Job Description: Join our client's team as a Medical Assistant at our partner's Urgent Care clinic where you'll hold a critical function in maintaining optimum clinic functionality, aiding healthcare providers, and managing patient flow. Your role involves a close-knit interaction with the team, undertaking collaborative tasks, and delivering personalized care to patients across all age spectrums. Be part of our extensive healthcare network and collaborate to offer a more cohesive healthcare experience. Candidate Requirements: - Possession of a High School/GED education

• Valid Basic Life Support Certificate provided by the American Heart Association (AHA BLS)

• Minimum one year experience in a Clinical Setting

• Although a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is not a pre-requisite, candidates possessing a Medical Assistant (MA) diploma must showcase at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant. Key Duties:

• Manage patient movement within the clinic

• Aid healthcare providers in patient care and treatment processes

• Undertake clerical and clinical assignments aiding the smooth flow of patients

• Maintain open communication with the healthcare team, keeping them updated about progress and any emerging issues

• Uphold and maintain skill proficiency and advance competencies as necessary Schedule and Shift Information: - Day/Evening shifts, with a total of 60 hours per pay period, inclusive of every 3rd weekend shift. Travel Requirements: - Occasional local travel involving the use of a personal vehicle may be essential.
