Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in various clinical and administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our medical facility.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program and certification preferred.

• Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

• Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs.

• Prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization.

• Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers.

• Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures.

• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Assist with medical record documentation and billing processes.

• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.

• Other duties as assigned to support the clinical operations of the medical facility.
