Job Description

As a Medical Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include taking patient vital signs, stocking rooms, cleaning instruments, and preparing rooms for various procedures. You will also perform patient intake duties, such as collecting medical history, documenting symptoms, greeting patients, and escorting them to their designated rooms.

Hard Skills

• Completed MA program

• Minimum 6 months of experience

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Proficient typer

Soft Skills

• Professional communication skills

• Customer service ability

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Brentwood, New York.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume patient environment typical of a community health center.
