Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Medical Assistant where you will be responsible for taking patient vital signs, stocking rooms, cleaning instruments, using an autoclave, and setting up rooms for various procedures. You will also conduct patient intake, which includes collecting medical history and recording symptoms, as well as greeting patients and escorting them to their respective rooms.

Hard Skills

• Completed MA program

• Minimum 6 months of experience

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Proficient typing skills

Soft Skills

• Professional communication skills

• Customer service ability

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Coram, New York.

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment at a community health center.
