Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will primarily provide support in our flu clinic. Although you will be primarily stationed in San Carlos, there may be opportunities for you to assist in our Burlingame and Palo Alto locations as well.

• Provides clinical and clerical support to providers and members of the patient care team(s) by performing a variety of back office and patient-related tasks supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

• Helps ensure smooth patient and workflow within the department and assists the patient care team in implementing the medical plan of care.

• Integrates education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers.

• Performs all duties under the direction of a clinician.

Skills:

6+ months of experience in medical assisting (outside of externship)

CPR/BLS certification

Medical Assisting Certificate Required

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Carlos, California. Must be open to float to Palo Alto or Burlingame.

Work Environment

You will be working in an outpatient clinic environment, primarily supporting our flu efforts for the 2024-2025 season.
