Job Description

Seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our dermatology practice team. The successful candidate will perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision, interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, and manage multiple patient-related tasks. Responsibilities include escorting patients to and from the exam room, preparing patients for exams, entering medical histories and prescriptions into an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, assisting physicians during exams/procedures, performing vital sign checks, preparing and collecting pathology/lab specimens, notifying patients of results, scheduling follow-up appointments, educating patients, responding to patient inquiries, documenting medical instructions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, including preparing procedure trays and sterilizing instruments.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Aliso Viejo, California.

Work Environment

The practice currently includes two providers, with a third joining in August. The team comprises four other Medical Assistants (two Front Office and two Back Office), with a fifth Front Office Medical Assistant starting on July 8th.
