JOB SUMMARY: Responds to inquiries or concerns from customers who call-in. Performs clerical and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain a high level of customer service by assisting customers with telephone sales.
Analyze & expedite customer orders in a timely manner. Meet customer needs by recommending appropriate products/services.
Enters sales data, quotes or other information into computer; researches information for customers using the computer system.
Accurately completes all daily, weekly, monthly paperwork on a timely basis.
Monitor status of customer owned cylinders brought in for filling or hydrotest purposes.
Maintain and upgrade industry product knowledge and company branch standards and procedures
Maintain neat and presentable store through good housekeeping.
Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines.
Work designated or voluntary overtime as required (including weekends).
Backup manager by performing critical branch functions as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school degree or the equivalent and one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the Company.
