The Medicaid Services Engagement & Planning Consultant provides leadership, technical assistance and coordinate new service design across the Department of Human Service's Disability Services Division.
Job Responsibilities include:
Design/redesign services and service delivery models to improve client access and choice, contain costs, shift from process oriented to outcome oriented accountability and streamline the administration and management of services.
Coordinate the total effort across the Division and/or Administration necessary to implement consumer and guardian surveys and national data reporting.
Develop and oversee the development of strategies to fund, manage, evaluate, deliver and evaluate Medicaid services for people with disabilities.
Determining the scope and leading data collection, analysis and final dissemination of Minnesota's reporting to national human services surveys on people with disabilities.
Conduct research, develop and manage demonstrations of alternative service delivery models of continuing care services, recognize the implications of policy and trends over the work of the Disability Services Division, oversee grants, and provide support, training and technical assistance to others within and external to the agency.
Three (3) years of professional experience in Medical Assistance programs doing implementation or design/redesign of policies, procedures or processes.
Demonstrating the following:
Analyze and interpret policies or research to make recommendations and guide others in the application of improved policies and programs;
Data analysis and management to work with research scientists and communicate the implications of empirical findings to a broad range of constituents orally and in writing; and
Establish project goals, design and implement work plans to anticipate barriers.
