Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Responsible for overall management of the Medicaid application site and developing and implementing policies and procedures in each area of the department. Be familiar with all daily duties of each area within the department.
Assure compliance with external program requirements. Stay current on program changes and update staff and other departments in PVCHC of changes. Represent Peak Vista appropriately at external meetings.
Maintain adequate staff levels, conducting trainings as needed to ensure quality staff performance. Update and distribution control of the Quality Assurance Policy. Provide planning to meet customers' quality requirements.
Determining items to evaluate within the process. Approval of quality work instructions. Determining the evaluation process for issues identified.
Monitoring procedures to assure compliance. Reviewing and maintaining quality assurance reporting. Corrective Action Coordination. Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervision Received: Director of Client Services
Supervision Exercised: Medicaid/CBMS Trainers, Determination Quality Assurance, Medicaid Application Specialists
Education: High School diploma or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Work Experience: Extensive knowledge of CBMS as well as working knowledge of Medicaid and CHP+. Proven track record as an implementation specialist. Strong Customer Service skills.
Cognitive Skills (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability): Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong customer service skills.
Expert knowledge on computer programs, Word and typing ability required.
Ability to work independently and work on project teams required.

Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements, and frequent fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
