RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Instructs students in a class setting.

  • Determine individual, class and school needs.

  • Establish objectives and plans learning experience.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for library media management.

  • Implement activities using a variety of techniques that utilize instructional time to meet objectives.

  • Organize media and equipment to provide accessibility for users.

  • Establish and maintain standards of student behavior to achieve a functional learning atmosphere.

  • Exhibit positive human relation skills.

  • Evaluate the program and/or student progress.

  • Communicate with parents/guardians, colleagues, and community groups.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in written and oral communication.

  • Maintain and submit records and reports.

  • Adhere to school system rules, administrative procedures, local board policy and state and federal rules and regulations.

  • Engage in personal professional growth and demonstrate professional ethics and leadership.

  • Other duties as assigned by Principal.

Salary Range: From/To $45,441.00 - $92,240.00 (Bachelor's, Master's, AA & Doctorate Degree, 187 Days)
