Friends University is seeking to fill a Media Services & Technology Coordinator position in Wichita, KS. This position will provide audiovisual, videoconferencing systems, and other media services to faculty, staff, university community, and highest-tier classroom technology support.

Two years of hands-on experience with audiovisual equipment in media creation or conference technology context. Broad experience working in a higher education setting preferred.

High School Diploma is required. An Associate's Degree in Instructional Technology is preferred.

Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are required. Ability to work collaboratively with a range of individuals.

Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule. Ability to accommodate needs of technology users among educators.

Our Communications and Marketing team is looking for a Media Buying Specialist. This position will be a member of the Research and Strategy group and focus on optimizing advertising campaigns for display, social, search, and other digital and traditional media. S/he will also handle duties related to reporting, analysis, and vendor management. This role could be based out of Wichita, KS or remote. If a remote location, we would require the person to spend time in Wichita training for the first couple months. A Day In The Life Typically Includes: * Analyze data to determine optimal targeting for digital ads * Set-up campaigns in digital media engines and traffic/manage creative * Monitor spend of campaigns to ensure that ads are delivered at a consistent pace * Optimize campaigns to ensure best performing ads are running * Design targeting experiments and test new, novel ideas * Research advertising industry to discover new technologies * Social media monitoring and research * Build reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint * Ensure vendors are meeting requirements * Troubleshoot ad serving/tracking issues as they arise * Tasks related to survey research, including compiling data, analysis, and assembling reports * Provide occasional data-driven input on creative direction The successful candidate will have the following attributes: * Professional in manner and demeanor * Aptitude to learn marketing analytical skills and be able to produce actionable reports on a regular basis * Personal integrity, a strong work ethic and a compliance focus * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented, work environment * Ability to quickly learn new software tools * Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong organizational and project management skills * Passion to enter the advertising industry * Strong attention to detail and ability to develop and maintain detailed naming/cataloging system for elements of advertising campaign. * Enjoys reading news and following current events What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree OR high school diploma with 2+ years experience working in a qualitative or data analysis position * Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint What Will Put You Ahead? Preferred Qualifications: * Successfully completed at least three post-introductory courses in a mathematical or quantitative field Basic experience with some sort of coding (i.e. SQL, R, Python, etc.) * Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint * Proven Ability to effectively negotiate with salespeople * Strong academic background in mathematics, economics, statistics or a related field * Demonstrated ability to quickly estimate the value of a project with a few cost/benefit inputs This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship Learn more about us Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
