This role, situated within the Enterprise Communications function of Thrivent, plays a pivotal role in shaping and sharing the narrative of our organization. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in leading video production within diverse settings such as agencies, corporations, or digital media entities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a compelling vision for video production, both within our corporate studio and on location.

  • Oversee all aspects of production, including managing live broadcasts from our corporate studio, operating equipment such as cameras, switchers, audio boards, and lighting, and optimizing studio design.

  • Collaborate with teams to facilitate streaming events across multiple platforms.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in video recording and editing, with a keen focus on creative storytelling, both in studio and on location.

  • Provide creative and editorial guidance to partners, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

  • Continuously innovate daily operations to integrate new technologies and storytelling techniques, staying ahead of industry trends.

  • Recruits, develops, and sustains a high-performing team while promoting a culture of shared accountability, operational excellence, and partnership across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 7-10 years of comprehensive experience in video production.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • Project leadership skills and ability to develop and execute a vision media strategy.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for video capture and editing.

  • Extensive knowledge of video production equipment, including switchers, audio boards, lighting grids, and set design.

  • Experience in live streaming platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work flexibly across teams and adapt to evolving project needs.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.

  • Strategic approach to content planning and implementation.

  • Ability to deliver high-quality content under tight timelines.

Pay Transparency

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $90,281.00 - $122,145.00 per year OR $43.40 - $58.72 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
