The Media Production Design & Development Specialist is responsible for the content management and administration of the company's Learning Management System (LMS) including ongoing development, configuration, curriculum creation, modification, content upload, reporting and technical support. In addition, this position will be responsible to film and edit video projects such as product innovation, sales campaigns, training videos, and other visual media.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Work with subject matter experts and functional managers to define learning needs and assist with method selection.
Manage all functions of LMS including uploading and assigning courses to end users as well as creating and publishing custom reports for compliance
Support efforts to populate company's learning environments with content, including installation of SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model)-compliant online courses, resource documents, and other materials.
Develop video and digitally based training curricula in partnership with content experts.
Use adult learning methodology to create, develop, and format training materials for a variety of delivery methods, including e-learning, videos, animations, and augmented/virtual reality.
Assist with video production needs across the company.
Plan, coordinate, manage and direct details of photo/video shoots with content experts and project leads. Capture footage, direct, edit, & complete videos while coaching talent on how to effectively deliver messages and connect with the learning audience.
Select and assemble equipment according to subject material, anticipated conditions, and overall scope of the project. Facilitate and perform training according to the video plan.
Evaluate and select materials, footage, and/or audio from external sources.
Ability to create interactive e-learning modules with quiz functionality.
Record audio, create software simulations and demos, and develop graphic design to support webpage design, script podcasts and video production only as needed.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Communication Design, Video Production Training, Business Administration or a related field of study
Two plus years of experience in video production
One plus years of experience in training and e-learning design and development, working with LMS, e-learning concepts and tools and/or instructional design knowledge
Hands-on knowledge of authoring technologies, intranet design tools, and multimedia applications, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Presenter, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe After Effects, and Articulate Storyline
Advanced computer skills in Mac OS and MS Office Suite
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Strong scheduling and project management skills
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently, to multi-task and manage changing priorities
Travel up to 30%
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with graphic creation and 3D motion graphics
Experience in editing, media management and marketing
Experience with Consultative Selling Skills and the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation model
