Job Summary

Our interns help us to seek the impossible during the summer. Join a team of rising leaders this summer for the MT Internship Program. Marcus Thomas is looking for a top-notch student, upcoming graduate or recent graduate to join the Marcus Thomas Media team for the summer. The majority of time will be spent assisting in the planning, buying, and management of paid media with an emphasis on digital media. Responsibilities

  • Work with Marcus Thomas' team of media planners and buyers to plan and execute traditional and digital media campaigns.

  • Collaborate with other practices (Creative, Analytics, Research, Account Service, etc.) to solve Impossible Challenges on behalf of our clients.

  • Assist with pulling and analyzing third-party research and data for a variety of projects.

  • Report on and analyze the details of digital media campaigns and paid search campaigns.

  • Participate in brainstorming meetings.

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior class standing or recent graduate of an Advertising-, Marketing-, Communications-, Journalism- or Business-related program at an accredited four-year university.

  • An interest in Media Planning.

  • Completion of Media Planning coursework is a plus.

  • Eagerness to learn.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

  • A "work hard, play hard" attitude.

  • Willingness to take on a variety of assignments.

  • A keen interest in media consumption and trends.

  • Analytical skills a plus.

  • A proactive, can-do attitude, with a willingness to do more than expected.

They work with teams across the company to create new uses for properties, establish schedules for project execution, make program decisions and support processes until the properties open. Many development projects involve public-private partnerships, often with city-owned property. These projects often also involve joint venture partnerships and the Development team works with those partners to move projects forward.
