Within a region this person will be responsible for making Local and Shopper Media a more impactful and fully integrated part of our holistic plans by providing media and marketing insight, strategic planning, innovation, and stewardship of a Region's media activity. This person is a passionate thought leader, focused on getting the most out of communication plans, and who understands the changing communications landscape. The role is the day-to-day media leader of a single region and single class-of-trade, and supports the Senior Manager in the overall activities of the Local and Shopper Media and Marketing team.
Develop, maintain and communicate a compelling media strategy which reinforces Category Strategy and brand initiatives in order to achieve business goals.
Demonstrate thought leadership by pushing for new directions and ideas that support local activity and solve shopper issues.
Interacts with field marketing, channel / shopper marketing, brands, agencies and media suppliers on a regular basis to ensure best thinking is brought to MillerCoors.
Analyze media effectiveness/ROI and productivity in order to ensure ongoing effectiveness and efficiency in media plans
Supports field / region to beat the market in terms of pricing, efficiency, and value
Ensure that media plans and key elements thereof are effectively communicated throughout the system to maximize market level results (eg: so that media and activation are aligned and used as a selling tool to distributors and retailers).
The Other Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
Minimum of 5+ years media experience with either other client side Media department or media agency
Knowledge of media landscape with ability to translate to impact marketing opportunities
Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity; persuade and negotiate effectively
