Media Art teachers educate young students, in grades TK-8, about basic media arts principles and techniques while encouraging creative expression and nurturing artistic abilities. These specialized elementary school teachers develop and execute lesson plans about media arts techniques and media arts history.

Art or Industrial & Technology Education Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing service as a teacher in the above position. In addition, must hold or qualify for appropriate certification to service ELL students.
