Med Surg Registered Nurse

As a Med Surg Registered Nurse at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care in a medical-surgical unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and holistic treatment. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg nursing experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles, procedures, and standards of practice
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred

Weekend requirement: Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

Base Hourly Pay/Salary Range: Based on experience

Shift/Weekend/On-call differentials: Evening 1500-2230: $3.50 Night 2300-0730: $5.00

Weekend 1500 Friday-0659 Monday: $2.25

Required Qualifications: BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years, 2 years of RN experience
