Mission to lead developing efficient Spare parts Service Repair solutions to maximize vehicle uptime thereby creating competitive product advantage in the aftermarket business.

Develop document and optimize Spare Parts solution needed for technical repairs

Develop adapt and document repair methods standard times on component system and vehicle level

Develop adapt and document special tools needed to perform repair methods

Lead internal technical review related to spare parts repair methods and standard times to assure coherence

Ensure that the repair methods standard times fulfill Volvo Groups safety and quality objectives

Secure to verify validate and quality assure technical solution prior to introduction in systems

Ensure the technical solution is synchronized with stakeholders and taking holistic view of entire product value chain

Take ownership of the parts assortment and repair methods throughout the product lifecycle

Close collaboration with Product Development Engineering to share learnings from the market and product performance to enhance vehicle uptime

Use machine learning and business intelligence to drive efficiencies in the day-to-day work to improve dealer workshop autonomy and maintenance effectiveness

Have a passion/interest for Automation Python Java C to develop solutions to drive efficiency in day-to-day work

Strong skills in Data Analytics to help drive decision making to support the business based on data

Applies practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience.

• Self-sufficient takes lead on own tasks and able to work/plan independently

• Self-driven proactive engagement with learning opportunities and ongoing Experienced development

• Honing skills in own discipline whilst growing a more general broader view of wider Business Area

BS Engineering required

Masters would be good but not required

0-5 years of experience

Will look at candidates with BS with internship/co op experience

Prefer someone with automotive/truck/heavy truck/OEM experience, large assembly management

Technical Mindset/engineering mindset

Being able to take lead on things, ownership, mature, can't babysit this person

Experience with analyzing data, data analytics in terms of seeing trends of what spare parts are being used, not used, etc....
