Job Description

As a Mechanical Systems Engineer, you will develop engineering definitions for mechanical system components and assemblies, optimizing them for operation, maintenance, and commercial service. Your role includes supporting supplier efforts, reviewing and approving manufacturing procedures to ensure they comply with design specifications, and assisting in test definition for verification testing of components and subsystems. You will be involved from early concept and development stages through to full production. Your tasks will include the development of conceptual and production designs, creating 3D models, performing kinematic studies, and establishing manufacturing tolerances for system components and assemblies.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tustin, California.

Work Environment

This is a 9-month contract position. You will report to the team lead and work alongside multiple remote individuals. The position requires a standard 40-hour work week with no alternative work schedules, and you must be available during Pacific Time working hours.
