THERE IS NO NEED TO APPLY TO BOTH. Level will be commensurate wth experience and skill set. Primary Purpose:

Repair and maintain mechanical equipment and/or auxiliary equipment. Perform heavy mechanical maintenance and replacement of reciprocating (Slow and High Speed) engines and turbine engines and compressors, including prime movers and auxiliary units. This position reports to a Crew Leader to ensure consistency in maintenance practices and detailed computer documentation.

Essential duties and responsibilities: These duties include assessing the condition of engine and compressor components as well as performing the required maintenance based on company standards and original manufacturer's specifications. Identify, report, and assist in correcting safety and environmental concerns.

Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork timely and accurately. Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirements. Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence.

Maintain a regular, dependable attendance, and high level of performance. Maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public. Overtime may be required and is anticipated.

Required to carry a company-provided cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours. This position requires the individual to follow all safety policies so that tasks and assignments are completed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, with an emphasis on finishing each day injury and incident free. Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on: motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. 2. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments such as laser alignment tools, stethoscope, tachometer, infrared camera, ultra sound and vibration analysis tools. 3. Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand /power tools. 4. Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. 5. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. 6. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. 7. Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. 8. Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions, requests and completing feedback documentation. 9. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications. 10. Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. 11. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. 12. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 13.
