Job Description Mechanical Project Manager A leading Commercial Plumbing Service and Repair Firm in the area is looking to hire a Project Manager to oversee large industrial and civil plumbing projects throughout the Greater Chicago, IL region. If you're a Project Manager with a background in industrial facilities and underground civil projects, who can reliably deliver projects on time, on budget, that surpass client expectations, let's talk.

This is a tremendous opportunity to work with a world-class company alongside some of the best in the business Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all phases of mechanical/plumbing projects, including planning, design, execution, and close-out. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation ensuring cost-effective delivery.

Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations. Mentor and develop junior engineers and project staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the team meets project milestones and deliverables. Maintain accurate records of project activities and prepare regular progress reports. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, tenants, municipalities, and various other agencies including state and federal departments.

Desired Experience: B.S. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. 5 years of demonstrated experience in industrial facilities and underground repair work.

Demonstrated experience leading design and construction professionals and coordinating day-to-day commercial job site activity. Strong technical expertise in engineering principles, construction methods, and project management. Expert ability to forecast timelines and project budgets.

Expert ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and documentation. OSHA 40 required Confined spaces and underground certifications highly preferred Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
