Mechanical Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, team driven individual with strong financial acumen with proven capabilities to develop and maintain new & existing customer relationships that cultivate mechanical service opportunities for Grunau.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assume a leadership role in the identification and building of significant long-term (owner-direct) relationships; this includes actively seeking new relationships and service opportunities.

• Produce flawless, professionally detailed estimates, calculations, and proposals for prospective clients.

• Responsible for efficiently managing projects sold.

• Cross-sell variety of mechanical services offered by Grunau and APi family of companies.

• Work with the Contract department to secure service contracts.

• Maintain high level of service and quality upon which our business has been built.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• College or University degree (preferred not required).

• Completion of trade affiliated apprenticeship (preferred not required).

• 2+ years of Project Management, Sales, Sales Leadership or equivalent experience.

• Familiarity with corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc.

• Use sound, independent judgement when partnering with customers, vendors, sister companies and suppliers.

• Ability to think outside the box for customers and partners.

• Strong ability to cold call and/or nurture warm customer opportunities, leads and engagements.

• Excellent verbal / written communication skills.

• Unwavering customer service skills to clearly and concisely support & communicate with customers.

• Mechanical & Math Aptitude.

• Exceptional computer & Apple iOS skills.

• Professional and Organized.

• MS Office Suite Technology.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Industrial, Commercial, & Residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels, and comfort with working at heights.

• Ability to be on the phone and computer consistently throughout the day.

PAY RANGE: Pay dependent upon level of experience and education. Base Salary + Incentive based on performance metrics and company performance.
