Description TGC Search is partnered with one of our Top Clients in the Las Vegas NV area who is on the lookout for a dedicated Mechanical Project Engineer to join the team and work on exciting construction projects in the Las Vegas area. This role involves coordinating project details related to execution, scheduling, and billing, and supporting the Project Manager in resolving on-site issues.

Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Assist the Project Manager in managing the project lifecycle from start to finish.

This includes attending walkthroughs and understanding project scope based on contract and bid documents. Document Control: Handle project documents, including insurance, permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and correspondence.

Ensure all documents are stored in the project's document control software and that the correct drawings are distributed to the field. Scheduling Support: Aid in the creation and management of project schedules, tracking delivery dates and subcontractor requirements.

Integrate these into the overall project and manpower schedule as needed. Material Management: Track major equipment deliveries and facilitate material takeoffs by trade foremen, ensuring timely delivery and proper notice.

Financial Support: Collaborate with the accounting department on monthly billings and collections, and follow up on outstanding balances. Safety and Compliance:

Work with foremen to ensure project safety through toolbox talks and weekly walkthroughs. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety programs. Change Management:

Gather information for changes in work, assist with pricing changes, and ensure work does not start prior to approval. Project Closeout: Assist field personnel in closing out projects and obtaining as-built drawings.

Qualifications: Experience: 1-5 years of related experience in commercial construction (Hotels and Casinos) as a project engineer. Education: A Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required. Familiarity with AutoCAD and project management/document control software is preferred. If you're ready to contribute to a dynamic team and grow your career in mechanical project engineering, we want to hear from you.
