JOB SUMMARY:

As our Mechanical Production Supervisor, you will be leading a team of highly trained (with some in the process to be) Mechanical Assemblers.  Our Mechanical Assembly team is renowned for their extreme quality (.5 DPMO compared to Best in Class at >200 DPMO).  In addition to extensive training and testing with Mechanical Engineering, our results are primarily accomplished via our revolutionary patented Mechanical Assembly system, vPoke!  To learn more about our system, click or paste this link:

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting Operation Manager to ensure daily productions scheduled meets customer's expectation, and manufacturing OTD metric.

• Assign necessary manpower to support schedule demand on a daily basis.

• Ensure all assembly lines are prep and ready for production builds.

• Working closely with Production and Engineering to resolve daily production issues, and implement continuous process improvement on Quality, Delivery, and Materials

• Monitors and reports daily production results, materials usage, waste, and downtime.

• Performing interviews, hiring, training, performance reviews, and discipline personnel

• Performing other duties and implement company policy as assigned by Manager.

TRAINING, PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in mechanical assembly and manufacturing process as a manufacturing / industrial engineer or manufacturing supervisor

• Strong leadership and hands-on production work experience

• Exceptional interpersonal communication including being adept in EQ and working through the differences and needs of your team members.

• Ability to effectively manage, develop, and retain the team while hitting the production schedule requirements.

• Knowledge and experience with MS Office (Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)

• A technical degree, AS Technical degree with at least 3 years related experience; or BS in Industrial Engineering

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

• Good verbal and written communicator

Annual Compensation Range for this role is: $ 75,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD
