Primary Purpose: The role of the Maintenance Engineer provides leadership and technical support for programs to improve the reliability of the facility per assigned discipline.

The maintenance engineer will work with mechanical supervision/craftsmen in providing technical field support in areas such as testing, trending, troubleshooting of equipment and oversight of field and/or shop repairs ensuring they are completed using accepted engineering methods. This role must also ensure compliance with all HSSE and regulatory requirements to achieve targeted plant and reliability goals. This position has weekend work requirements and call out responsibilities and will be located in Hackberry Louisiana.

Employees' primary residence must be located within a one-hour drive from the Hackberry plant site. This measure will assure that response time for callouts is kept to a minimum, which increases the safety of our employees in an unexpected or emergent situation. Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is required.

Responsibilities/Duties: Interfaces with the other maintenance groups, operations and other departments as needed to insure safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance and facility operation Uphold and ensure compliance with standards Manage risk and promote risk awareness amongst employees Lead and/or assist with Root Cause Analysis or 5-Why programs Oversee management of changes assigned within the Maintenance Department Develop, review and modify short and long-term maintenance strategies, techniques and plans of the respective equipment in CLNG Facilities to achieve targeted plant availability and reliability. Oversee and audit comprehensive Maintenance programs (preventive, reliability-centered, improvement project, bad actor programs, etc.) in collaboration with Facilities Engineering Team so as to achieve cost effective plant reliability Assist with development and oversight of discipline budget Provide field and/or shop support including technical oversight of Maintenance activities Develop and oversee discipline departmental KPIs Makes periodic inspections of all equipment within assigned discipline and assists in the maintenance, modification, or improvement of said equipment including proper documentation and change management. (MOC activities) Provide proper maintenance and engineering repair recommendations for plant stationary and rotating equipment Provide technical support concerning the maintenance and proper operation of mechanical equipment Serve as an engineering resource when required for inspections and maintenance turnarounds Project management for equipment repairs and new equipment installations Responsible for Engineering and procurement specifications for equipment Occasionally step up as a project lead for resolving unusual plant downtime situations. i.e., following a critical pump repair and communicating with outside shop personnel and reporting status to the leadership team.

Keeps current with technical developments in his/her respective field through outside study, trade journals, technical societies, and seminars Embrace continuing education by identifying training needs, budgets, schedules and attending training Assist in the planning of equipment outages, downturn repairs, and predictive & preventive maintenance procedures Perform other tasks as assigned Qualifications: Must have strong knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems Must have Routine Maintenance experience Must be willing to maintain TWIC identification card Must have Supervisory experience Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

Strong knowledge of a Hydrocarbon plant Process and safe work practices Proven Management of teams in an Operations and Maintenance Environment Preferred: Experience in Liquefied Natural Gas production and/or natural gas processing Experience in heavy industrial, petrochemical, or refining Helpful Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Knowledge of budgeting, planning, scheduling and associated computer software such as SAP and related reports (KPIs). Good computer skills Physical Requirements:

Must be able to climb stairs and ladders that ranges from 4 ft to 200 ft. Must be able to lift equipment needed to perform work. Must be able to wear safety equipment such as safety harness, respirator and other protective equipment as necessary.

Ability to communicate fluently in English. Organized and able to manage multiple activities timely and with a high degree of accuracy. Self-starter with ability to work strategically with minimal direction.

Driven to meet and exceed performance parameters. Strong attention to details. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Able to remain calm and effective in emergencies. Understands and deals comfortably with a sense of urgency. Demonstrates high ethical standards for honesty, truthfulness and integrity.

Ability to interface with a culturally diverse range of personnel with varying disciplines, backgrounds, and experience levels. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with terminal facility employees, vendors, and suppliers. Possesses the personality and ability to relate to and to establish a mutually respectful relationship with 1) management, 2) peers and 3) the various facility level workers whom are all responsible for ensuring good operations.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, walk, climb, run, sit, kneel, twist, bend, pull, push, carry, lift, reach overhead and drive. Most activities involve movement of either the upper and lower body extremities or both and the joints associated with these areas of the body.

Must be able to climb stairs and ladders that ranges from 4 ft to 200 ft. Must be able to lift equipment needed to perform work. Must be able to wear safety equipment and other protective equipment as needed to perform job.

When outdoors, this classification is exposed to extremes of heat, cold, loud noise and dust. Must be able to climb stairs and/or walk on uneven surfaces. Must be able to sit at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods of time.

Must be willing to be on call, work outside of normal business hours as required and handle emergency response responsibilities. Must be able and willing to travel for trainings and/or meetings as required.
