Job Description

Our client is looking for a Resident Inspector for the inspection of Gas Turbine Generator Package. This contract would potentially start in June and continue until the end of 2025.

Qualifications

• Academic Qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree

• Minimum 15 years' experience inspecting materials, equipment, commodities and manufacturing processes in manufacturing plants especially in the manufacturing of Gas Turbine package.

• 10 years of inspection experience in the manufacture of contract specific commodities, materials or equipment.

• Demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 QMS requirements, engineering drawings and standards, material specifications, manufacturing techniques and fabrication methods. (Not mandatory)

• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking the English language.

• Currently certified by either AWS as a Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI), or CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector (SWI), or EWIP/IWIP-C or an approved equivalent certification level and scheme.

• Where NDT forms part of the WORK, currently certified by the Employer to a minimum of Level II under ISO 9712:2012 (PCN, COFREND or CSWIP) in the relevant test methods and techniques to be performed, reviewed or assured (i.e., VT, MT, PT, RT and/or UT).

• Where painting/coating forms part of the WORK, currently certified by the employer to a minimum of Level II under FROSIO or NACE

• Copies of Degree/diploma and other certifications is required.

• Work schedule is 8 hours/day - 6 days a week if possible.

• Per diem will be considered if the successful candidate is not local.

• Pay rate: ~ 45/hour.
