Job Description:
ANGARAI's Mechanical Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards, while adhering to industry regulations and company specifications.
Major Roles and Responsibilities:
The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Documentation: Record inspection results, including measurements, deviations, and any non-conformities. Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation of inspection activities.
Quality Control: Monitor and verify the quality of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. Identify and report any defects or deviations from specifications.
Calibration and Maintenance: Ensure that inspection equipment and tools are calibrated and maintained in accordance with established procedures. Report any equipment malfunctions or deficiencies.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to address any quality-related concerns and provide recommendations for improvement.
Compliance: Stay updated on relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. Ensure that all inspections are conducted in compliance with applicable guidelines.
Problem Solving: Investigate and troubleshoot any quality-related issues that may arise during the manufacturing process. Propose and implement corrective actions as needed.
Progress Monitoring: Track and report on the progress of construction activities, highlighting any delays or deviations from the project schedule.
Minimum Qualification and skills:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Possess a master license in the Mechanical domain.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical inspection, quality control, or a related field. Experience with [specific industry or equipment] is a plus.
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, engineering drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification (e.g., CQI, CQT) is a plus.
