  • Performing incoming inspection of mechanical and electrical components utilizing drawings and established criterial.
  • Assist in in-process and final inspection of mechanical/electrical assemblies, and other duties as assigned.
  • Recording inspection results and producing reports, as required, in the computerized network system.
  • Inspecting and logging shelf life material and chemicals, and affixing expiration date labels as required.

Specific Requirements

  • 5 years mechanical inspection experience.
  • Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings. Experience with GD&T a plus.
  • Able to use basic measuring tools (i.e.: calipers, micrometers, scales (rulers) and additional measuring tools).
  • Basic knowledge of a computer (i.e.: Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook and the internet).
  • Work within an established QMS environment to the standards of AS9100 and follow department and company procedures and policies.
  • Ability to work independent with minimal supervision and utilize time efficiently.
  • Able to communicate and work well with co-workers.
  • US citizenship or Permanent Resident status

1st and 2nd shift opportunities

Entry Level: 14-16/hr

Wire Harness and Cable experience: 16-18/hr

VIEW JOBS 10/28/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-26T00:00 In this role, you have the opportunity to colloborate with System Engineering teams and help lead Thermal Management decisions and cross functional integrations. This includes the ability to influence internal and external customers with complex analysis and support IDR's. PDR's, CDR's, and PRR's. You are responsible for * Interfacing with multiple teams regarding complex cooling options. * Utilizing Flotherm CFD analysis tools to analyze cooling complexities. * Travel to Customer sites (when Permitted) to assist in strategic discussions * Perform training to increase our volume of analysis capabilities. * Create cooling SDRL's to support customer requirements. * Execute Analysis trades for VITA 48.1, 48.2, 48.4, 48.5, 48.7, 48.8 cooling technologies You are a part of a Global Engineering Function that supports multiple BU's and helps drive solutions and technologies to maintain Mercury Systems as a technology leader. This team helps create a "ONE MERCURY" culture and solve and support complex challenges. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience * 2+ Years Flotherm Experience * 7+ Years of Solid works Experience * Experience leading teams and influencing complex decisions * Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience Responsibility Statement: Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Demonstrates excellent judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Designs and analyzes mechanical board and system level COTS and MOTS products. May act as informal team lead. Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Participates and/or directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication. Provide technical interface to customers, subcontractors, assemblers, fabricators, consultants, and vendors/suppliers as applicable to system-level power, packaging, and cooling solutions. Responsible for the complete design, development, analysis and documentation of mechanical devices and/or systems with mechanical parts for new and existing products. Use wide-ranging experience, using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
