Mechanical Field Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with specialized experience in refinery operations for field installation work at our Denver Refinery site. Responsibilities: Provide expertise in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical fixed equipment and rotating equipment within the refinery.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to plan and execute field installation projects efficiently and safely. Conduct field inspections and assessments to identify equipment issues, recommend solutions, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop detailed engineering plans, procedures, and specifications for field installation activities, including equipment layout, piping arrangements, and structural supports.

Perform technical analysis and calculations to assess equipment performance, reliability, and structural integrity. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to procure materials, equipment, and services required for field installation projects. Participate in site meetings, safety briefings, and project reviews to provide technical input and support project planning and execution.

Act as a technical resource for field technicians and operators, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance. Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to field installation activities, including equipment modifications, repairs, and upgrades. Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment and mitigate operational risks.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5 years of experience with a focus on Refinery operations and field installation projects. Proven expertise in mechanical fixed equipment and rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and pressure vessels. Strong understanding of refinery processes, equipment specifications, and industry codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME). Experience with engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and proficiency in technical analysis and calculations.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Willingness to work onsite at the Denver Refinery and adhere to site-specific safety protocols and procedures. M1
