Join us for a 12-week paid internship. This position is for a Mechanical Engineering student who is enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, who will be working on a temporary intern assignment within the High-End LaserJet R&D organization. The student will showcase learned analytical and design skills through contributing to the development of LaserJet printer products as part of a mechanical engineering team.

Responsibilities:

Primary job responsibilities will be developing reliability analysis processes and tools that will consider system level test results being performed by both HP and suppliers, triaging emerging issues, development, and execution of experiments to characterize problems and characterize proposed countermeasures.

Education and Experience Required:

Undergraduate students looking to graduate in 2022 majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Strong problem solving and communication skills

Strong CAD skills

They should be highly motivated, flexible, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Relocation assistance available.

Under direction of Engineering Services Manager, responsible for the safe, reliable and proper maintenance and operation of Company's technical facilities, which typically includes compressor stations, renewable natural gas receipt points, liquid natural gas (LNG) facilities and propane plants. Provides direct leadership to facility personnel and provides technical assistance to field operations staff. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Serves as project manager of complex facility installations and upgrades. Prepares scope, establishes schedules, creates detailed cost estimates, initiates project, creates and manages project team, reviews and manages outside consultants and contractors, creates bid documents, evaluates and awards bids, documents change management. 2. Prepares and manages the capital and O&M budget for technical facilities, including upgrades, replacement and relocation projects. 3. Maintains knowledge of industry standards, NFPA and Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49, Parts 192 and 193. Assists in company procedure updates as required. 4. Provides leadership, guidance and technical support to staff and related technical facility personnel. 5. Provide oversight of required maintenance of all facilities. 6. Establishes and maintains relationships with District management and personnel that work on and assist with technical facilities. 7. Supervises technical facility staff, formally and informally reviews staff performance and works directly with personnel on day-to-day tasks. 8. Provides support and training to staff for operation, maintenance, testing, calibration and repair of technical facilities. 9. Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: • Must possess a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, or the equivalent working knowledge obtained from experience with gas operations, facility operations or engineering practice. * Must have a minimum of five years gas utility or industry related experience. * Must maintain a valid drivers license. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access. * Subject to the Company's substance abuse testing program. * Requires moderate travel (up to 25%).
