Position is located in South Houston, close to Hobby Airport.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineering Intern include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists with manufacturing process in shop environment.

  • Creates, updates, and maintains drawings and 3D models in Solidworks

  • Inputs and maintains BOMs/Part numbers in Syteline

  • Dispositions Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as necessary for production

  • Completes Engineering Change Notice Requests (ECN/ECRs)

  • Interacts with test lab and trouble shoots performance with pumps

  • Self-Directs Project Management duties

  • Works with manufacturing to establish standards, processes, and routings

  • Will receive training on NCRs, Test Lab, pumps, etc. upon hire.

Qualifications of the Mechanical Engineering Intern include, but are not limited to:

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or SolidWorks 2D is required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required

  • Manufacturing Engineering background is a plus

  • Project Management experience is a plus

  • Syteline/ERP experience a plus

The Commissioning Superintendent will lead various CSU teams, Field Service Technicians, and designated third party contractors that will be engaged in commissioning and start-up of the facilities. This position interfaces closely with the project management team during all phases of the project. This role will also provide support to HSSE personnel and will be responsible to uphold the implementation and standard of safety processes teams on-site during the execution of commissioning and start-up. Location This position will be located in the Energy Corridor of Houston, TX Responsibilities * Hold and/or attend daily safety meetings. * Lead and insist on strict adherence to Lock-Out / Tag-Out Procedures (LOTO) and policies and perform daily LOTO checks as directed by LOTO authority. * Maintain operations logbook, implement operational procedures and handle shift coverage for operations. * Maintain strict control of all control room and field operation activities. * Review test procedures for component and system testing. * Understand and adhere to CSU administration manual. * Understand and adhere to all contractual requirements for completion, including permitting and EPA requirements. * Assist in coordinating initial energization, functional testing, and operation of plant systems. * Troubleshoot and isolate system problems by correcting or suggesting resolutions and providing a written report of results. * Track progress of assigned systems and provide operations management with timely reports on the progress and activities. * Coordinate and monitor original equipment manufacturers' work that affects plant operations. * Maintain plant equipment in the highest state of readiness. * Perform construction process assessments during system walk-downs and identify exceptions and deficiencies. * Assist in commissioning and testing individual components, systems, and the station as a complete integrated unit to meet all contractual obligations. * Perform specific functions when designated by the CSU manager. * Analyze plant operational problems and solve by taking appropriate action. Qualifications * Knowledge of plant operations with the minimum experience level of Superintendent. * Should possess strong math skills. Should be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite. * Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English. * Extensive knowledge of equipment and operations is preferred. * Able to lead, communicate and prioritize effectively during normal, abnormal and emergency situations. * Able to maintain situational awareness during normal, abnormal and emergency situations. * Able to complete all required initial and ongoing training and successfully pass written, verbal and practical evaluations to maintain individual Operator Qualifications as required. * Must be able to work a modified twelve-hour rotating shift schedule * Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for third party personnel have been met. * More than 10 years in a Field Service Supervisor role with prior experience working in electrical, mechanical, or similar vocational training preferred. * More than 10 years in a Field Supervisor role, with prior experience managing Field Service Technicians at the project site. * Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills. * Must possess superior electronic and/or mechanical repair aptitude. Familiarity with microprocessor based circuitry and programming techniques. Leadership capability and good aptitude. Knowledge of various aspects of a Field Service. * Knowledge of Flow Measurement, Engineering practices, design methods & calculations. * Knowledge of PC, Windows, Office Software and IT implementation background. * Oil and Gas Industry Safety Standards and requirements. Hands on Service experience. * Capable to Read, interpret & prepare applicable technical information. * Control systems knowledge and maintenance of PLC and PC based control systems.
