Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Marquardt Switches, Inc.:

The Mechanical Engineering Intern will provide support to the mechanical engineering team. Seeking co-op students who are able to work full-time from October-December and January-March.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create/ update 3D/2D in Catia and UG NX.

  • Perform tolerance stack calculations.

  • Perform product testing and evaluation in support to a ME.

  • Build first product samples in the lab and test functions.

  • Perform calculations and investigations in support to a ME.

  • Assist in root cause analysis and problem solution finding.

  • Create technical documentations.

Required Qualifications for this role include:

  • Currently enrolled and working towards an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA.

  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, wordetc.).

  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organization skills.

  • Willingness to learn new skills.

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the co-op section.

  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future (US Citizen or Permanent Resident).

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.

  • Ability to occasionally stand and walk.

  • Ability to use close vision, color vision, and depth perception for extended periods.
