Mechanical Engineer- Security Clearance RequiredVetegrity manages and directs the facility engineering design, construction & renovation, maintenance programs, and raised floor infrastructure for mission-critical DoD data centers.Position Overview:
  • Provides assistance in the development of projects and services with supporting engineering calculations to include rough sizing of mechanical systems, piping, ductwork and other facility systems and mechanical components
  • Provides reviews of complex designs and draft Statements of Work and Performance Work Statements
  • Supports project execution with engineering assistance for technical reviews and providing recommendations to the Government representative regarding contract status with schedule
  • Periodic site visits to customer data centers for data collection, commissioning and other project support is required
  • Must be able to work in a small team environment
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited College or University
  • 5 years of experience in building mechanical systems for data centers
  • 2 years of experience commissioning building mechanical systems for critical infrastructure
  • Background in project management
  • Must be proficient with office automation software (MS Office, AutoCAD)
  • Professional Engineering License preferred
  • Secret Security Clearance

Our preferred candidate is someone with an extensive depth and breadth of expertise that can serve as an expert within the field of mechanical engineering and apply their experience in the industry and appy it to today's challenges.</p><p>Your projects will include a diverse array of facilities such as central utility (chilled water, steam, hot water, etc) or combined heat and power plants, thermal distribution systems, industrial process plants, manufacturing facilities and various renewable technolgies such as hydrogen production or carbon capture systems.</p><p>Core competencies include: Equipment selection, heat and mass balance calculations, hydraulic system modeling, development of process and instrumentation diagrams, pipe stress modeling and design, cost estimating and life cycle cost analysis. Mechanical Engineer
