Mechanical Engineer. Texwrap Packaging System, LLC. Washington, MO.

Apply mechanical engineering knowledge of machinery principles and materials, manufacturing methods and processes to ensure designs are functional, practical, economical and satisfy customer operating requirements. Design automated equipment using 3D CAD systems.

Create 3D simulation and conduct FMEA to size application. Prepare a Bill of Materials listing parts to purchase or fabricate for assembly. Complete and document engineering changes, changes to the design of parts, revising drawings and bill of materials to maintain updated drawings according to drafting procedures. Project management.

Need bachelor's degree or higher (or foreign equiv.) in Mechanical Engineering. Need 5 yrs.

Post grad, progressive experience as a Mechanical Engineer. Need 2 yrs. Exp. with Design Software including SolidWorks.

Need 2 yrs. Exp. with machine design for manufacturing industry.

Requires 10 - 15% travel within the U.S. to customer locations.
