Marmon Industrial Water designs and manufacturers water and wastewater treatment equipment solutions, under the brand names Graver Water Systems and Ecodyne. Our technologies included raw water pretreatment, degasification, hot lime softening, boiler make-up, condensate polishing, wastewater treatment, cooling, and oil/water separation for markets such as petrochemical/chemical, power generation and heavy industrial plants.

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our New Equipment group. This Position can be based at our Burlington, Ontario or Warren, New Jersey locations.

The position is accountable for performing the detailed engineering work required to produce final and correct engineering designs to meet client requirements on capital projects. The position also provides guidance and recommendations to designers, engineers and the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Mentor more junior Mechanical Engineers with guidance provided by the Mechanical Engineering & Design Manager or Director of Engineering.

• Assume responsible charge/discipline lead role for assigned engineering work associated with a project.

• Provide technical support and development of product requirements, specifications, designs, codes, and standards.

• Prepare, review and check engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, datasheets, bill of materials and calculations for assigned projects.

• Participate in technical reviews of project requirements, specifications, designs, codes, and standards.

• Provide resolutions and dispositions to client comments on engineered documents.

• Provide responses and clarifications to fabricator requests for information

• Contribute to corporate design standards and engineering processes

• Support field personnel

• Travel to fabrication facilities to evaluate fabrication as well as Client sites

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering

• 10+ Years of experience

• Professional Engineer in good standing

• CAD software proficiency with SolidWorks

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite

• Knowledge of mechanical design codes and standards including ASME, AWWA, API
