We are looking for expert engineers to design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical component, equipment, machinery and patented innovative technology with the best results at our Flagstaff Arizona location.
In addition to design and development, this position utilizes Solidworks and PDMWorks to create and store drawings electronically that can then be viewed, printed, or programmed directly into automated manufacturing systems.
This position may provide production supervision of parts and equipment, as well as testing to maintain quality. Communication, technical assistance and installation may be required as our machines are customized for each of our customer's needs.

In this role you will help with the designing of our equipment offerings such as: balloon catheter pleat and folding, drug coated stent crimping, heart valve crimping, catheter tipping, bonding, flaring, flanging, medical wire braiding and coiling, catheter lamination, marker band swaging, hole forming, biopharmaceutical sealing, sterile connecting and disconnecting along with many other applications. Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; plus 2-5 years related work experience or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience is accepted.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific, technical and legal documents as well as respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced mechanical engineering math, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory.
Ability to apply principles of logic and scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems while dealing with a variety of abstract and concrete variables such as; nonverbal symbols (formulas, scientific equations, graphs) in different phases.
Minimal time will be spent, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling and crouching while some time will be spend reaching with hands and arms while talking and hearing. Most of the time will be spend sitting using hands to finger, handle or feel.
Lifting up-to 50lbs will be required at times.
The following vision requirements are needed:
View computer monitor for extended periods of time. Utilize fine motor skills for precision human interface device (HID) inputs.
Minimal time will be spent near fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, with risk of electrical shock.. Time will be spend working near moving mechanical parts where moderate noise can be expected.
