We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This Mechanical Engineer in the Boston, MA office will work on exciting Energy Transition, Circular Economy and Petrochemical projects. You will also be responsible for the design and engineering of critical process piping systems from conceptual design through plant startup and providing technical services for operating facilities.

Responsibilities: 1. Apply principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials to the design and production of scientific equipment and machinery. 2. Use 2D and 3D CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to design and analyze mechanical systems and components. 3.

Utilize plant modeling software like Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, and Smart 3D for designing and optimizing plant layouts. 4. Conduct detailed analyses to ensure that designs meet and exceed performance and safety standards. 5. Perform pipe stress analysis using relevant software and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. 6.

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot design and production issues. 8. Participate in the testing and validation of prototypes and final products. 9.

Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and scientific technology. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering. 3. Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. 4. Experience with plant modeling software like Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, and Smart 3D is a plus. 5.

Familiarity with pipe stress software and understanding of applicable codes and standards. 6.

Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a plus. 7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 8.

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. 9. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 10. Passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and advancements.
