Job Description Job Description Our Client in the Golden Valley area is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work on a new project. Below are the details of the required skills and job description.

Tasks of Client's project: Learn how following electro-mechanical products work: Aquastat Limit Control Safety Switch Learn which parts (machined/turned and molded) are being moved to new suppliers.

Answer supplier questions about unclear print specifications. Submit print engineering change requests (ECR) when necessary. Work with a Product Quality Assurance (PQA) engineer to decide what testing is necessary at the product level to qualify the products for use when using parts from the new suppliers.

Write and approve (along with PQA engineer) test plans for test technician(s) to follow and conduct testing. Design special test fixtures if necessary. Help technicians troubleshoot test problems.

Review test results data and compile into understandable format (graphs, tables). Draw conclusions from data to determine if products pass/fail test criteria. Approve test reports (along with PQA engineer). Necessary skill set/qualifications: Mechanical engineering degree.

Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes. Ability to understand mechanical drawings and specifications. Knowledge of electro-mechanical devices.

Good technical writing skills. Experience with product testing and qualification.
