Mechanical Engineer

Full Time, Onsite Lakewood, CO, M-F schedule

Must be authorized to work in U.S.A., currently residing in Denver Metro & willing to commute EVERY DAY Monday through Friday for work. No relocation, remote or hybrid available. Please no c2c or 3rd party recruiters.

We're seeking a dynamic Mechanical Engineer to assist the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions in a team-focused manufacturing & office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

*Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.

*Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, and other data and provide management with reports containing the data and statistics to enable management to better understand future requirements needed for the manufacturing process.

*Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.

*Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.

*Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

*Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods.

*Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.

*Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

*Provide manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.

*Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.

*Maintain & update CAD drawings & models as needed.

*Collaborate with engineering team on various existing and new product design projects.

Requirements:

*Knowledgeable in manufacturing engineering (possessing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, plus 0-2 years of experience in a similar role).

*Proficient in: Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, Arduino & simple coding, Design for Manufacturing, Operation & maintenance of 3D printers

*Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.

*Detail-oriented and consistent.

*A team player with ability to effectively communicate and operate in a group environment.

*Self-motivated and able to work independently.

*Goal-oriented and able to manage time and meet specific deadlines.
