Role Overview:

Join a dedicated team of engineering professionals in our DC / Baltimore office. We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to build and lead a mechanical engineering team. This role offers the chance to work on complex projects in healthcare, laboratories, commercial spaces, defense, and higher education. The successful candidate will be involved in technical design, consulting, construction support, and business development. Collaboration with our regional electrical engineering team to provide MEP services is essential.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary:$77K - $125K, based on experience
• Possible Signing Bonus
• Paid overtime possible

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering Registration (required)
• US Citizenship (required)
• 5+ years of consulting engineering experience in the AEC industry
• 5+ years of HVAC and plumbing engineering experience (required)
• Knowledge of International Building Code/International Mechanical Code (required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
• Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Experience in a collaborative team environment and project management
• Business Development experience (preferred)
