Mechanical Engineer

An internationally ranked architecture and engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to help them deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment at their Portland, OR office.

Your Day Includes

• Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard accepted methods

• Perform detailed phases of engineering work on major projects or total engineering work on projects of smaller or moderate scope

• Devise new approaches and solutions to problems encountered and communicate changes to the team

• Supervise and coordinate the work of less experienced engineers and designers and be responsible for checking a portion or all of the drawings completed on the project within the discipline

• Write portions or all of the specifications and assist in or prepare total cost estimates

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

• EIT/FE required

• PE or PE-tracked preferred, plus two (2) or more years of experience as an Engineer 3 or the same educational, certification, and registration requirements as above with five (5) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s) required

• Must have 4-6 years of experience and be able to independently lead a project

• Must have HVAC and Piping design experience

• Revit experience and able to independently model if required preferred
