Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will utilize Solidworks and AutoCAD to create models, assembly drawings, detail drawings, and bills of material. Your role will involve spending approximately 75% of your day on design tasks and the remaining 25% supporting on-floor machine builds. You will assist in resolving customer issues and supporting the sales department with quotations to determine material and labor requirements. Additionally, you will ensure that designs comply with mechanical standards, building codes, local regulations, and OSHA regulations. Collaboration with the manufacturing department to review drawings and materials before the build begins is essential. Travel is minimal, involving 2-6 short trips per year.
