Description:
This role will complete the mechanical portion of large capital projects supporting the Plant Capital execution. Position will execute design studies, follow procurement and fabrication of equipment, and manage the installation/commissioning/and startup of the equipment.
Responsibilities
1.Provide Mechanical Engineering design for assigned projects including solid models, layout drawings, component specifications, and bill of materials.
3.Create Budgetary Estimates and Bid Packages on assigned projects.
4.Create project documentation: mechanical designs, technical offers, safety risk assessments, maintenance & operator training documents, and user manuals.
5.Facilitate the order of equipment and materials for assigned projects.
7.Provide supervision during equipment modifications & machine installations through Start-up and Commissioning.
8.Interface with Plant production & maintenance customers, other engineers, and suppliers to complete

Mechanical engineering, Solidworks, equipment design, Mechanical design, Project management, Project engineering
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar industry) or associate degree with equivalent experience
3-5 years experience in equipment design or related field
Solidworks experience required
Project management experience is highly preferred
