Mechanical Engineer

Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to aid in the increase in work load experienced by our client. Our client is a full-service Architectural/Engineering/Construction management firm located in Herndon, VA!

Job Responsibilities:

• Put together HVAC construction documents in a commercial building

• Perform HVAC Design

• Create load calculations

• Perform field surveys and travel out of town periodically

Skills:

• Mechanical Design (specifically with HVAC systems)

• AutoCAD or Revit experience

• HVAC

• Experience creating CDs

• Experience creating RFIs and working on submittals

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering as it relates to building designs (including HVAC)

• Plumbing, energy conservation, building automation, and fire protection experience is a plus but will be trained if they don't have it

• EIT preferred

• Ability to perform field surveys

• Experience on data center projects is a plus
